This Is Exactly What Nigerians Are Saying About Saraki’s Possession Of Buhari’s Ministerial List

Nigerians have reacted to the report by the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, that he is in possession of the ministerial list as delivered by Senator Ita Enang, the senior special assistant to the president on National Assembly matters.

And with President Muhammadu Buhari insisting on making the names on the list public before midnight, Nigerians are really anxious, hence their reactions on twitter.

Meanwhile, Senator Shehu Sani believes the Nigerian president has fulfilled his promise by ensuring that the list got to the Senate before the end of September.

The lawmaker, who took to his Facebook wall to make his comment, wrote:

PMB has fulfilled his promise; He sent his ministerial list to us in September. Now we have to fulfil ours,to throughly screen them in accordance with the rules.

But, Nigerians are totally against him, as they believe that the Nigerian leader has played on the intelligence of the entire populace with the sudden release of the list to Saraki just hours before midnight of the supposed deadline he gave himself.

Some of those who commented on . insisted that Buhari is a disappointment to Nigerians, because he had promised to release the names of the ministers and not the submission of the list to the Senate President.

Solomon Garba, who studied at the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, wrote: “Comrade I bet to disagree with you. Buhari dissapointed Nigerians. As long as we don’t know what name is on the list up to 11:59 30th sept, then Baba never kept his promised. For the senators, I hope it will not be the usual take a bow and go.”

For Idris Sani, a Senator Sani is a “betrayal you don’t have respect in our eyes anymore. Allah ya isa” while Jibo Jemaku advised Sani over the role of the Senate in ensuring the list is not compromised.

He said: “As an activist and senator I know you can perform and show your talent, pls don’t the negative side for screening in the bad among them. PMB can shortlist a wrong figure you people can eliminate him or her. But all what we need is prayer though is the weapon of any evil.”

And as at the time of filing this report, it was still unclear whether the names of the ministers on the list would be made public before midnight.
