Rep assures constituents of development

The member representing Apapa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ayodeji Joseph, has assured his constituents that all the challenges facing them would be brought to the notice of the national assembly.

He stated this at the interactive dinner organided by the maritime operators held at Rockview Hotel, Park Lane, Lagos.

Ayodeji said one of the major challenges facing the people in his constituency was poor state of roads.

He gave an assurance that before end of the year, there would be an expansion of some roads in the area.

In his remarks, the convener of the event, Chief Engr. Gabby Dimudde-Kabayan, said that the Federal Government got 74% of maritime revenue and called for immediate repair of roads in Apapa, where most of the maritime activities took place.

Addressing the gathering, the spokesperson of the All Progressive Congress (APC), in Lagos State, Mr. Jones Igbokwe, said Lagos State and Federal Government would collaborate to ensure that the roads in the area were put in proper shape.
