The remains of APC Candidate in Kogi Governorship Election Abubakar Audu has been laid to rest this afternoon at exactly 1:50pm. Before that came to be, a prophet had besieged the premises of the Audu’s insisting he has come to raise him from death. The crowd which filled both outside and inside his premises were also of the belief that the late politician was still alive. They asked his family members who had given up and knew he was truly dead to let the prophet in, but they refused. When the crowd won’t stop crying, shouting and screaming, the family members allowed the prophet come in after so many pressure.

The crowd outside also joined their faith with the prophet and started renting the shouts of  Holy Ghost fire while Muslims kept shouting Allahu Akbar. But sadly, Audu didn’t wake up. The prophet was later showed the way out. Shortly after that, Imams gave a short speech and the late politician was buried.

Dino Melaye, a son of the soil, who has been with the Audu family early enough was also seen carrying out major assignments.

Former governors George Akume, Abdulkadir Kure, Lucky Igbinedion and Rabiu Kwankwaso were also there to pay their last respect. Saminu Turaki and other APC leaders arrived shortly after the former governors in a helicopter.

What no one can however take from Audu is that he was loved and it showed as thousands of people came out for his burial. Even after laying him to rest, many still waited behind and kept crying and wishing the late politician would get up, so the whole story could change. May his soul rest in peace.
