The boxing legend, Muhammad Ali, has been hospitalised in the South-Western U.S. State of Arizona, his family’s spokesman, Bob Gunnell, said in a statement on Friday.
According to the statement, the 74 years old Ali, is being treated for a respiratory condition at a hospital in Phoenix, where he lives.
“A brief hospital stay is expected, he is in fair condition and he is being treated by a team of doctors,” Gunnell said.
The three-time heavyweight champion, who suffers from Parkinson’s disease, retired from boxing in 1981.
