Breaking: Messi ‘given 21-month jail term’

Argentina and Barcelona footballer Lionel Messi sentenced to 21 months in prison for tax fraud, Spanish media say.

Spanish court also sentenced Messi’s father to 21-month prison sentence, around 1.5 million euros for tax crimes. But under Spanish law they don’t have to serve the prison sentence.
