Court upholds Ali Modu Sheriff’s removal as PDP chairman

A Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt on Monday upheld the removal of Senator Ali-Modu Sheriff as the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party.

Justice‎ Mohammed Liman, who made the verdict in a suit brought to the court by the PDP, declared that the National Convention that removed Sheriff was legal.
