Rivers State Governor, Barr. Nyesom Wike played host to the former Governor of Anambra State and Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Mr. Peter Obi.
Peter Obi was in Rivers State to commission a gigantic flyover done by the administration of Nyesom Wike. Obi attended with his Vice Presidential Candidate, Dr. Datti Ahmed and other members of his entourage.
During Wike’s speech,
Wike said, “they’re envious. They’re jealous. They, your own people would try to put you down. It’s normal. That’s life for you. But, now that they’ve the chance, let them concentrate and work and stop going after you. If they’re Professor, let them Professoram well …”
He also added;
" Your Excellency, I know you very well as a person, you have the criteria, characteristics, and integrity to move this country forward, no one can deny that, I will give you all the logistic support anytime you want to come to campaign in Rivers State. You're a man of integrity"
